Since 2007, we have developed six core programmes to address the root causes of poverty, illness, and lack of opportunity in Arusha.
We provide a safe, loving home for 40 children who have lost their parents or were living in vulnerable conditions. Our care includes health insurance, education, and emotional support to ensure every child has a stable foundation for their future.
Our home care teams visit HIV/AIDS-affected families to provide nutritional support, medical advocacy, and counselling. By reducing stigma and improving health outcomes, we help parents stay with their children and prevent the growth of the orphan crisis.
St. Vivian Pre and Primary School offers high-quality, inclusive education. We actively seek sponsors for 200 children to cover tuition and materials. Our curriculum includes vocational and computing skills to prepare children for modern life.
We empower widows and out-of-school girls through seed capital and small business training. Within six months, many of our graduates are financially independent, breaking the cycle of poverty and providing for their families with dignity.
Many girls in Tanzania miss a significant amount of school due to lack of menstrual products. We provide reusable kits to 250 schoolgirls annually, restoring their confidence and keeping them in education all year round.
TAMIHA operates several income-generating activities, including a restaurant, apartments, and the Lukudane Barefoot Experience. These projects fund our foundation's operations, making us self-sustaining and less reliant on external aid.
Your support directly funds these programmes, providing food, education, and healthcare to those who need it most.
